I have Wept
I have
wept for many but the many held their tears
I cried for many but the many remained still, until
I turned dumb and words escaped me, drowned in thoughts of
wonder
Despair has griped me, but just for a moment yet that moment
remained
As
for eternity...
I reached
out to many but many were too many
I scorned at tiredness and fatigue, but these could not possess
me
I fell as into a deep sleep and wondered, and wondered still
Why they are so sealed with silly pride and strange unbelief
Then I entered their past
and
I
understood their sorrowful plague and their limitless wants
Their longing and wishes for life's most precious gifts
Yet these have escaped them and tormented their dreams
The curse was still there like bloody nail stuck in the cross
Atoned for, forgiven, yet
unexplained
This nail
I speak of, the Kenite had driven through holy hands and holy
feet
This hate, this rage, the untamed bitter spite of things eternal
So holy and dear to some of the other stock
unknown to the
Kenite
The one who roams earth's hidden clefts, hunted by a torment
Unable to
repent

Hear a thunder hear a roar
Hear a
thunder hear a roar
There’s
a raging going on
Depths
of heart one curbs and blocks
At
depths of soul one scorns and laughs
Timeless treasure chest, but under a lock
Unaccounted for… unlike the almighty buck
Hear a cry hear a sob
There’s
an orphan, all alone
Your
daily trash, your overflow
Left by
the calloused anger-clenched fists
By
souls and hearts that beat amiss
Tears
he drinks and sorrows he eats
I
spread my arms and call the meek
Perhaps
they’ll hear and then retreat
From
vein pursuits the newfound belief
That
the full must get fuller and the poor…
Well,
skills and culture, IQ’s all-amok
Unaccounted for… unlike the almighty buck
