Dear brothers & sisters in Messiah Yeshua:
I have discovered in all this time that there
are translators with little experience who are charging as
much as $ 25,00 per translated page in standard space and a
half in Word document. I have been charging only $ 16,00
though as you might know Spanish is always LONGER so if you
had a book with 260 pages for example in Spanish it could turn
out to have 275 more or less so it would be $ 4,400 and
normally the procedure is to pay half in advance and the rest
on completion. I am providing you this information because
many people do not know what the normal price for translation
is, so often they are paying too much and having the work done
by translators who NOT always have the necessary experience
and therefore they are throwing away their money.
Can you imagine your books, novels and articles
reaching practically ALL the SPANISH speakers? Wouldn’t that
be wonderful?
This information is about my over 45 years
experience as a Sephardi, Messianic freelance translator,
interpreter, transcriptionist and author. I am ALWAYS
interested in translating books, novels and articles into
SPANISH for anyone interested and at the same time look for a
publisher for my 3rd novel, as I explain below and will of
course provide further information if you so desire. I look
forward to your kind reply. The last book I translated into
Spanish, my 119th one was: “Noah, Founder of Civilizations”

I wish to ad and make very clear that
translating is something I do with love, passion and desiring
to make you fully aware of the importance of your books and
other materials becoming available in SPANISH too, BUT I can’t
WORK FOR FREE. Off lately a few people have expected me to
work, spending days, weeks and at times months translating
books ONLY for THEIR BENEFIT not willing to pay for my work!!
The Torah/Bible clearly states that “THE
LABORER IS WORTHY OF HIS WAGES”
so if you wish to have your books, novels or articles
translated FOR FREE please DO NOT WRITE TO ME, thank
you.
I have translated to date a total of 119 books
and 129 subjects for an encyclopedia in Madrid, SPAIN where I
am from (please see lists below), as well as having done
simultaneous translating for Campus Crusade for Christ
conferences in Austria, France and Spain, editing,
proofreading, dubbing of movies for “Estudios Abaira” and
“Estudios Exa” in Madrid, transcribing of several hundred
tapes for a Messianic ministry and have 2 novels published,
one in Spanish and the second in English as well as having a
third in English I would like to see published in a near
future. Your books could become a blessing for those who do
NOT read or understand the English language.
We have gone to several Messianic congregations
since we discovered our Jewishness 13 years ago, like
BeitHallel in Tacoma, Wa. And others, the last one we went to
was BatZion Messianic congregation in the Woodlands, Texas

translating Torah related books and articles my personal and
small, but at the same time important ministry as we too live
in obedience to Torah and we are an Israel loving and
supporting family, fully convinced that they are GOD’S CHOSEN
PEOPLE.

wonderful books, articles, Web pages and other information
available in SPANISH too! Wouldn't being able to reach the
ever growing number of SPANISH speakers all over the world be

A WORD OF WARNING:
I have been shocked to see people who are so
mistaken they think that some “machine” on Internet can
translate into SPANISH or other languages and do it
AUTOMATICALLY. That would be like going to a doctor with grave
symptoms and hoping that just by looking at the doctor’s face
you will AUTOMATICALLY BE HEALED!! (I send this because it is
sad and tragic to see "so called translations" that are
nothing but a murdering of the SPANISH language and are so
MISERABLY TRANSLATED that they are really NOT AN ACCURATE
TRANSLATION, but a poor and inadequate way of trying to save
some money).
Not only was I brought up with the Bible, but
my father Dr. José Flores Espinosa (two very Jewish surnames)
who was the General Secretary of the Bible Society in Madrid,
SPAIN, but he was a Bible teacher, preacher, gave conferences
and spoke 8 languages and I worked 9 of those years with him.
As a family we live in obedience to Torah and
Messiah Yeshua, keeping the Sabbath, NOT the Sunday,
celebrating the Feasts decreed by our Abba ve shamaim, eating
kosher, loving and supporting our "am Yisrael." I am also a
freelance translator, interpreter, transcriptionist and author
with over 45 years experience and will include the information

another one in English as you will see below and would like to
see my third novel published too.
I consider translation my personal ministry as
well as my passion and in these very critical economical times
I am convinced it is more important than ever to reach out to
the ever increasing number of Spanish speakers.
As I am sure you know the U.S. Census Bureau
has projected there will be 102.6 million Hispanics living in
the United States in 2050. Throughout the United States, the
Hispanic buying power is already near $1 TRILLION per year -
the largest of any minority group and also it is a well known
fact that in Spanish you need at least 20% more words than you
use in English to say the same thing," says Schon, whose
regular reviews in Booklist, the magazine of the American
Library Association, can make or break a translated book's
reputation. This is part of what literary experts define as
the awakening of a new era in the book industry for U.S.
Hispanics.
If the Spanish-language market is hot, the
Spanish-language religion market is boiling over. For several
years most Spanish religion/spirituality houses have reported
sales growth rates of 25% or higher, a sure sign the Latino
cultural boom rumbling through music, television and film is
also making itself felt in this segment of publishing. And one
of the biggest reasons for that, these publishers say, is the
recent awakening of retailers--from chain superstores to small
religion independents--to the needs of the Spanish-reading
consumer. But while retailers are more open to
Spanish-language religion books, most publishers say
booksellers still have further to go in understanding the
deeper cultural and spiritual values of the Spanish-reading
consumer.
Fueled by the rising tide of Latin American
immigrants, the U.S. publishing industry has found a booming
market in Spanish-language books, especially over the past two
years: Amazon.com sells thousands of Spanish titles at its Web
site; the nation's biggest bookseller, Barnes & Noble, hired a
full-time Spanish-language book buyer; and the trade journal
Publishers Weekly launched the publication Críticas to track
the burgeoning industry. Sales of Spanish-language books in
the United States add up to more than $350 million a year,
according to consultants Kiser & Associates.
Translation became one of my passions when I
was preparing my "Proficiency in English" from Cambridge
University, which included English Language, literature
RICHARD II of Shakespeare and translation. I was 16 when I
translated my first book. These are very critical economical
times and reading can often become a very welcome pastime. My
daughter and I have always been passionate readers and in my
parent's home in Madrid we had a library that covered 3 walls
from the floor to the ceiling in several languages. (Please

proofreading, dubbing, transcribed 400 tapes. I also have a
novel published in Spanish "Amanecer entre sombras" (sunrise
among shadows) and my second novel "ABBA, LET ME SERVE YOU"

Each one of the characters in this short story
is part of my imagination, but at the same time the reality of
life’s experiences; those things that touch us and make us
what we become inevitably and in a very real way make up the
main argument that is reflected in each of the pages not only
of this book, but most importantly of our lives. Life grows,
changes and colors the events that take place, touching the
lives of others and molding the thoughts of the different
characters because deep inside those of us who base our lives
on the EMET, truth in Hebrew, of the Torah or Word of God and
Messiah Yeshua, become the open book in which we make it
possible for Messiah to write and to fashion our lives.
I previously translated many Web pages and
other materials I have not included for the sake of space. (I
was educated in the "British Institute School" in Madrid till
the age of 15 and then got my "Proficiency in English"
(English language, literature including Richard II of
Shakespeare and translation) from Cambridge University.
Because Spanish speakers in the United States
come from many countries, as you might know it is wiser to use
experienced, professional translators who know universal
Spanish, which is what I offer because mine is Castilian
SPANISH from Madrid, SPAIN; avoid regional or national idioms
except when the style or dialog call for them.
As you might know this is one of the fastest
growing markets in the United States and SPANISH is here to
